abstract = "We review the performance requirements on spectral filters for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) applications. Aprilis photopolymer is evaluated to make a photopolymer Bragg grating. A diffraction efficiency of 80% at 1550 nm is achieved in an unslanted transmission grating. A new design configuration of holographic filter is suggested and fabricated to satisfy DWDM filter requirements using the photopolymer material.",
