Abstract

Digital Africana Studies is the rigorous and sustained study of the discipline through the lens of technology and digital communication. This chapter presents the Virtual Harlem Project, an example of how advanced visuality through immersive worlds is used to teach university courses such as Experiencing the Harlem Renaissance.
