Abstract

Electroluminescence from conjugated polymers allows the application of organic materials in electrically pumped light-emitting devices. In this paper, a vertical-cavity surface-emitting polymer laser is characterized. The application of this laser is presented and its emission spectra are compared with other lasers without a cavity.
