ULTRAFAST LASER STRESS FIGURING USING ON-MACHINE DIFFERENTIAL DEFLECTOMETRY

Abstract

We present a method of accurately figuring thin fused silica mirrors utilizing focused ultrafast laser pulses. Additionally, we have incorporated differential deflectometry to perform in situ figure measurement, a critical step toward closed-loop figure correction.
