Abstract

The few transition-metal-thionitrosyl complexes that are known have displayed some remarkable chemical and physical properties in relation to those of their more common metalnitrosyl analogues.1-8 There is considerable interest in extending the limited range of known metal-thionitrosyl species, particularly through triads of the transition-metal series.
