Thermal conductivity in perovskites

Abstract

A three-phonon interaction mechanism is proposed to account for thermal-conductivity data in SrTiO3 and KTaO3. The model qualitatively explains the observed strong resonant scattering, its temperature and electric field dependence, and the differences between the two materials.
