Theory of femtosecond transient exciton bleaching and recovery in the optical Stark effect

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

Numerical solutions of the full semiconductor Bloch equations for femtosecond pump-probe excitation are presented. Transient absorption oscillations, optical Stark effect and ultrafast bleaching and recovery of the exciton are reported. A transient population build-up and decay on the time-scale of the pump-pulse is calculated.
