Abstract
The use of integrated organization and information systems models in building and delivering business application systems is proposed. The concept of integrated organization and information systems modeling is discussed and illustrated by means of an Extended Critical Success Factors model. A flexible metasystem, MetaPIex, designed and implemented by the authors to support high-level organization and information systems modeling, is described in detail. The use of integrated models with executive information systems (EIS) to support the delivery of information is discussed. Directions for future research are also suggested.
