Abstract

The rotational spectrum of a dinuclear complex was studied using high-resolution pulsed beam microwave spectrometers. The rotational spectrum of MnRe(CO) 10 were measured and analyzed to obtain the gas phase molecular parameters of the complex. It was observed that the solid phase could be due to the presence of the crystal packing forces in the crystal. The results suggest that the Mn-Re bond is slightly larger than the sum of the covalent radii.
