Endoscopic ultrasonography in diagnosis and therapy of pancreatic and biliary tumors was studied. The technique was compared to other diagnosis procedures such as computerized tomography, angiography and abdominal ultrasonography. The sensitivity, specificity and positive and negative predictive values of the methods were investigated.
