The primary aberration coefficients of cross-cylindrical anamorphic optical systems

Abstract

A method of calculating the primary (third order) aberration coefficients for cross-cylindrical anamorphic systems has been found. The monochromatic primary aberration coefficients for this type of anamorphic systems have been developed, in a form parallel to the Seidel aberrations.
