N2 - Nicolas A. Guittar’s (2014) new book, Coming Out: The New Dy-namics, explores the current meaning(s) of coming out. Based on interviews with 30 participants, the author elucidates what he phrases as the “new dynamics” of coming out. Although some of these dynamics may indeed be newly based on empirical data, they are not all necessarily new social phenomena.
