Abstract

A report was presented on the art of innovation in organic chemistry. The synthetic efforts towards the phomoidrides were discussed. In support of these efforts, synthetic chemists were inspired to invent novel synthetic methods to face the formidable chemical challenges posed by the phomoidrides.
