Abstract

We fabricate THz lenses by compression molding of pure polymer micro powders as well as extruded polymeric compounds. In particular the latter provide higher refractive indices than pure polymers which allows for thinner lenses, higher numerical apertures and hence, better focusing. Besides, compression molding is very cost efficient.
