Abstract
Two 3-hydroxy(phosphono)methyl-bearing phosphatidylinositol ether lipid analogues were synthesized and shown to be inhibitors of Akt and PI3-K. These compounds were also shown to inhibit the growth of HT-29 human colon cancer cells and MCF-7 human breast cancer cells.
