Abstract
In this paper the effect of field sweep-rate on the fluctuation field (Hf) is examined. Measurements of Hf for a CrO2 medium at different values of sweep rates (R) show that Hf is independent of R when the data is analyzed according to the equation of state model. These results agree with the theoretical treatment of the problem that also show Hf independent of field sweep-rate.
