SVD-based control of a beam figure

Abstract

A beam figure control problem which is closely related to active optics concepts and vibration damping of structures is addressed. In view of this, an efficient scheme is developed to control the shape of a beam using only a small number of actuators and sensors. This scheme is modeled and designed using the MATLAB software.
