note = "Funding Information: As scientists utilize new technology to make important discoveries, NIH must ensure that physician-investigators are equipped with knowledge as well as instrumentation. Health services research can provide investigators with valuable and vital information applicable to clinical research, including cost effectiveness and cost benefit, operations and systems research, epidemiology, and bioinformatics research. Interfacing with health services research programs provides important management expertise as well as colleagues versed in public health, business, behavioral science, and statistics. NIH grant funding must reflect the costs of such collaboration as well as the cost of utilizing such essential information. ",
