Sub-wavelength grating induced spherical wavefront aberrations: A case study

Abstract

An example of the spherical wavefront aberrations of a one-dimensional sub-wavelength grating anti-reflection coating is presented. The polarization aberration pattern is dominated by astigmatism, and the magnitude is not extreme.
