Abstract
Replies to F. D. McGlynn (see PA, Vol 56:Issue 1) who stated that the conclusion reached by the present authors (see record 1974-28353-001) in their study of therapist warmth and desensitization was not justified by their research. It is argued that McGlynn misrepresented their statement of conclusion which was, in fact, couched in tentative terms. McGlynn's selection of literature to support his view is also criticized.
