Strange particle production in pp and pN reactions

Abstract

A statistical model of particle production valid for a wide range of Feynman x is developed and applied to describe strange particle production in hadronic collisions. Predictions of relative abundances of multiply strange hadrons are made which compare well with the available fragmentary data.
