Abstract
This article offers an historical perspective and overview for treatment of thoracic aortic aneurysms. The classic technique, design, and delivery system are detailed. It outlines patient selection, the endovascular procedure, and interaction with the vascular surgeon. The authors describe their results as well as complications, and give an overview of this new and highly specialized treatment.
