Abstract

We demonstrate 10 m standoff analysis of bulk and trace elements in laser-produced plasmas using tunable laserinduced fluorescence (LIF). LIF of laser-ablation plumes provides emission enhancement, higher spectral resolution in comparison with thermally-excited emission.
