Abstract
Theoretical evidence for stable biexcitons are found within the Coulomb-correlated model for -conjugated polymers, for realistic Coulomb interaction parameters. High energy picosecond photoinduced absorption, not anticipated within one-electron theories of -conjugated polymers, is explained as a transition from the optical exciton to the biexciton.
