Abstract
A Fabry-Perot interferometer provides the essential carrier frequency and phase information to stabilize mode-locked pulse trains. The femtosecond laser has emerged as an indispensable tool for bridging large frequency gaps and open up towards all optical clocks. The frequencies of the mode-locked laser has been expressed. The femtosecond pulse train was transmitted through the reference cavity. The scanning changes both the carrier frequency and the repetition rates. The carrier frequency, phase and repetition rate of the incident pulse train are locked to reference cavity.
