Abstract
A technique to stabilized the frequency, phase, and repetition rate of an ultrashort pulse laser system was demonstrated. The method used a Fabry-Perot reference cavity. The difference in two separate portions of the laser's spectrum that was reflected by the cavity must be detected in order to lock the repetition rate independently from its average frequency.
