Abstract

This article proposes to generalize data base planning systems. In order to take advantage of the knowledge that can be gained from the consideration of specific systems, a regional water pollution control planning system is described briefly and used for some examples. This system is discussed in order to develop the proper motivation for a Generalized Planning System.
