Abstract
An overview on bright spatial solitons in planar waveguides was presented. The solitons were found to interact and affect each other's behavior while propagating side by side in the same slab. The simulations reported were quiet stable and yielded similar solitonic behaviors under diverse conditions. When the soliton encountered the channel wall on the right-hand side, it was squeezed against the wall.
