Social skills are associated with satisfaction in close relationships

Abstract

66 dating and 65 married couples completed measures of their social skills and their relationship satisfaction. Participants' social skills were positively associated with their own relational satisfaction. Males' social skills were also associated with their partners' relationship satisfaction.
