Abstract
We describe the case of a 29-year old woman who experienced shortness of breath during labor with severe deterioration of symptoms immediately after the delivery. The patient was affected by pulmonary edema due to tocolytic therapy, the pathophysiologic mechanisms of which are here illustrated and discussed.
