Abstract
The effects of the shape moduli associated with toroidal compactifications were studied and it was demonstrated that the Planck-sized extra dimensions were capable of casting significant shadows over low-energy physics. These shadows placed a fundamental limit on probing the geometry of compactification by measuring Kaluza-Klein states. The compactification geometry was found to be renormalized as a function of energy scale with renormalization group equations describing the flow of geometric parameters.
