Abstract

Whether SERKs regulate zygotic embryogenesis remained elusive for a long time. By analyzing two independent serk1 serk2 bak1 triple mutants this study reveals that Arabidopsis SERKs play an important role in controlling division patterns of vascular precursors and ground tissue stem cells during embryogenesis.
