Abstract

The characteristics of the sentence production systems of German-English bilinguals were investigated using a sentence completion technique in which either the first or the second half of a sentence was deleted. It was found that the results for bilinguah matched the results obtained for separate groups of German and English speakers, provided that the bilinguals were highly fluent in both languages.
