Abstract
WORM drives do not adequately meet the needs of many users because of slow rotation speeds, and transfer rates do not approach those of magnetic storage systems. A technique for sector interleaving across multiple drives (striping) that users could exploit in order to mitigate such performance problems is presented. Computer codes and algorithms presented in this article are part of the public domain.
