Abstract

The KL→ π0π0e+e- decay in the KTeV experiment was analyzed. The KTeV spectrometer components used for the analysis consisted of four stations of drift chambers. In 2.7 × 1011 KL decays, one event was observed with an expected background of 0.3 event, resulting in an upper limit for the KL→ π0π0e+e- branching ratio of 6.6 × 10-9 at the 90%CL.
