Abstract

A set of knowledge bases (KBs) is proposed to aid in hierarchical model construction. Topics discussed in detail are model knowledge acquisition and representation, model generation, executable simulation model construction, and rule-based atuomatic analysis. Faster model construction is afforded by use of FRASES acquisition process and a global model database for facilitating the refinements.
