Abstract
The aims of the Workshop were: to review basic concepts and techniques; to consider what kinds of information available from tree rings would be of value to scientists; to evaluate the contribution of tree-ring data to palaeoclimatic studies; to exchange information on analytical techniques and results; to review the existing tree-ring collections; and to prepare a review of the current status of dendroclimatology. Recommendations on these are included. -L.F.Musk
