Abstract
The solution to the monoenergetic time-dependent neutron transport equation in infinite spherical geometry with isotropic scattering is reconstructed from moments. By application of the transformation between spherical and cylindrical geometry, the corresponding solutions is obtained directly. In addition, the form of the solution allows generalization to the anisotropic scattering case.
