Abstract

A quasi continuous wave 1535 nm Er-doped all-fiber laser was developed for 1.6 μm Er:crystal lasers pumping. Increase in efficiency of Er:YAG lasers as compare to pumping with commercial 1470 nm pump diodes was demonstrated.
