Abstract

pvlib python is a modular open-source toolbox for photovoltaic system performance modeling. It enjoys widespread use in both industry and research communities, underlying commercial products and gathering hundreds of academic citations per year. Its open development practices have attracted a large international user and developer community. Here we describe recent functionality enhancements and report community and contributor statistics.
