Abstract

A short introduction is given into construction and use of the proportional hazards model with time-to-event data. Applications include environmetric settings where analysis of the survival pattern(s) from a set of observations is studied. The presentation includes material on a form of distribution-free proportional hazards model, known as the Cox regression model.
