Abstract
The model was developed for a major corporation in the extractive industry. Solutions of the model were computed for various problems in 100 to 1600 constraints and 50,000 to 75,000 variables. The basic model is presented with some comments on the computer and mathematical programming techniques used to generate optimal production and distribution decisions.
