Probabilistic Shaped LDPC-coded 400G PM-64QAM DWDM Transmission in 50-GHz Grid

Abstract

Crosstalk tolerance of 400G PS-64QAM DWDM transmission in 50-GHz grid is investigated. In single-channel scenario, PS-64QAM outperforms uniform-64QAM by 0.6 dB, while PS-64QAM with optimized roll-off factor features a 0.9-dB gain in DWDM transmission regime.
