Abstract

In this note the Author considers the potential flow in a sluice gate in which the intersecting boundaries are not required to be at right angles. The approach used to resolve this problem is the general method using the Milne-Thomson integral equation. Results obtained include equations of the free streamline and the coefficient of contraction in closed form for a general configuration. (from Paper)
