Polymer Integrated Optics: Toward Monolithic Integration

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

Polymer integrated optics has recently made major progress as several materials systems have been demonstrated that have low enough loss and adequate stability for many applications. We review the progress that has been made in passive and active functionalities and look toward the realization of sophisticated polymer optical integrated circuits.
