Abstract

Pharmacologic doses of cimetidine, 120 mg/kg twice daily, injected into pregnant rats during the last week of pregnancy did not alter placental uptake or maternal-to-fetal transfer (fetal uptake) of 45Ca, compared to results in control animals injected with an equal volume of normal saline.
