Abstract

An experimental study was conducted of the hydrodynamics of slurry bubble columns in which the liquid phase is a solution of guar gum. The main emphasis is to analyze how the presence of intermolecular cross links affects hydrodynamic parameters such as gas holdup and solids distribution in the bubble column.
