Abstract

A new family of unipolar wavelength-time codes with zero out-of-phase autocorrelation and maximum cross-correlation equal to one, based on balanced incomplete block design is proposed. The system performance is assessed in a realistic simulation environment taking into account multi-access interference, transmitter/receiver imperfections.
