Abstract
Measuring the effectiveness of visualizations is considered to be a challenging task. Up to the present, questions still abound on how this step should be taken. This report promotes discussion of research or development that is needed for improving the measurement of visualization effectiveness. A debate is also initiated on whether general measurements are possible, or whether all visualization is case specific.
