Abstract
Parametric amplification in semiconductor microcavities was studied. Using homodyne detection in a degenerate configuration, evidence was shown for specific features of polariton four-wave mixing in the microcavity. The amplification threshold and the shift of the emission line observed in other experiments were obtained in a configuration very different from that of other studies.
